There is a lot of marketing hoopla (dare we say propoganda?) out there these days about the virtues of brushless motors in power tools so I thought it was about time I put something together on the differences and benefits of each motor type used.
At Direct2Trade.co.nz we sell many different products but by far our most popular sellers are cordless power tools so I thought it might be useful for some of our non tradie friends to cover off some of the main cordless power tool types in a 101 style series.
Before we start looking seriously at the tools though let’s discuss the bits that power them – Batteries.
Lets face it, there are many suppliers of power tools and accessories in the New Zealand market and all have their strength and weaknesses. We chose to align ourselves with 2 strong brands, one of them being Hitachi. We like the way they operate and the value and innovation they bring to the customer is first rate.
